Nice

Not only the air bridge to the Côte d'Azur, but also a beautiful metropolis.

Stroll along the 'Promenade des Anglais' and visit 'le vieux Nice'. Museums, restaurants and shopping à la carte !

At the end of the day, enjoy the beaches and the sky-blue water.

Cannes

About half an hour by car, you are in Cannes, the city of the jet set, film stars and its many festivals.

Ideal for a day of shopping, just strolling along 'La Croisette' or sunbathing on the sandy beaches (La Bocca) along the Mediterranée. This city has it all.

Cafés, Bistros, restaurants and hotels abound here. Who doesn't know the 'Carlton' or 'Martinez' ?

If you have time, be sure to take a boat from here to Ile Sainte Marguerite (Iles des Lérins) or Saint Honorat : a uniquely beautiful nature reserve

Top chef Bruno Oger at Le Cannet, 10 minutes from the Croisette (Le Cannet, Rue de l'Ouest - 2 Michelin stars) is a must for lovers of fine cuisine.

For vibrant nightlife, this is also the place to be.

Saint-Tropez

In St.Tropez you must have been, done the weekly markets (Tuesdays and Saturdays) and don't forget the numerous shopping streets and the charming little port. This town breathes 'Brigitte Bardot' and 'Louis de Funes' in everything.

Tasting the renowned Tarte Tropézienne is an absolute must!

Menton

Menton, or the 'lemon town', is just 20 minutes from Monaco and 5 minutes from the Italian border. This town can definitely be called ydillic. The town centre with its colourful houses, well-preserved historical buildings, charming shops and six beautiful botanical gardens make Menton well worth a visit. It should come as no surprise that Menton may bear the title of 'pearl of France'.

Monaco

Visit Monte Carlo, shake hands with Prince Albert's subjects. Be sure to have a drink at the 'Café de Paris', centrally located at the foot of the Casino.

Enjoy the passing luxury cars and the 'grandeur' that is everywhere in this tax haven. In the evening, on the way back, grab a bite to eat at the bay of Beaulieu-sur-Mer or Villefranche-Sur-Mer......Zalig !

Villefranche-sur-Mer

Villefranche-sur-Mer is a top spot on the Mediterranean. Not far from Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer is known as one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the area

Antibes

Very congenial and friendly walled port and seaside town, with its old streets, covered market and characteristic socca vendors.  Artisan markets are regularly held here, both during the day and in the evening.

Antibes also has a vibrant nightlife.

Combine this as a finale with a day in St.paul de Vence, Valbonne and/or Biot !

Sainte-Maxime

The resort of Sainte-Maxime is always buzzing with activity. You have (sandy) beaches, beach bars, clubs, shops, restaurants and bistros

From here, you can cross over by boat to fashionable St Tropez. Highly recommended! (www.bateauxverts.com)

Saint-Raphaël

Undoubtedly the largest and busiest seaside resort (sandy beaches) in the region. In season, you have continuous evening markets here.

Restaurant and bistros a gogo and numerous shops

From the port, numerous boats/navettes depart for Saint-Tropez, Agay, Saint-Aygulf and Fréjus as well as for the Poquerolles Islands and Ste. Marguerite Islands, which are definitely worth a visit. A boat trip along the Calanques is unforgettable.  (www.bateauxsaintraphael.com)

For those who like to gamble, Casino 'Barrière' is the place to be !

Grasse

Grasse is still the centre of the perfume industry in France. More than 60% of France's production of natural aromas takes place here !

The streets of Grasse are filled with fragrances. Rose and jasmine are omnipresent. Fragrance specialists here work daily to develop new fragrances, people call these specialists 'les nez' (the noses).

Be sure to visit one of the three big perfume houses Fragonard, Galimard or Moulinard. Absolutely worth it, and one thing is for sure.... You're sure to come back with plenty of perfume gifts.

From here, you also get to the historic Route Napoléon, a winding road through beautiful nature, connecting the Mediterranean Sea (Golf Juan near Cannes) with Grenoble, via Grasse, Digne and Gap, among others. If you have some time, you should definitely do a stretch of this historic route.

Combine a visit to Grasse with the weekly market, .... This certainly makes it as enjoyable.
