A word about the villa

Holiday villa 'Le Trèfle d'Or' is located in the hills of the charming village of Montauroux, which is part of the popular 'Pays de Fayence' (Var - Provence).

 

Here you are centrally located between the beaches of the Côte d'Azur (such as Saint-Raphaël and Agay, Cannes, Mandelieu and La Bocca, etc.) and the typical cozy mountain villages of the Provencal hinterland (such as Fayence, Callian, Seillans and Tourrettes, ….), but you are also surrounded by nature reserves such as the 'Esterel' mountains, with their beautiful Calanques along the coastline, on the one hand, and the impressive 'Gorges du Verdon' in the hinterland on the other.

 

The nearby 'Lac de Saint-Cassien' will undoubtedly provide you with top water and sports fun (swimming, sailing, pedalo, fishing, etc.), but you can also indulge in numerous walking routes through the beautiful nature and/or go horse riding or cycling. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy themselves in the well-known golf resort 'Terre Blanche' (2 x 18 holes). It's all possible here!

 

In the evening, enjoy the atmosphere on the squares and terraces of the surrounding mountain villages, which still exude that typical Provencal atmosphere and charm of yesteryear. Every village has its markets, art streets and events during the season. In the shade of the plane trees you can thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and the good local dishes and wines every time.

 

Another plus: almost everything is nearby: your baker, the butcher, the fishmonger, the fruit and vegetable shop, the wine and olive oil farmers,…. But also the supermarkets, clothing stores, sports shops, etc.

 

The villa is just a 45-minute drive from Nice international airport and/or you have TGV options with arrivals in Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Saint-Raphaël, Cannes, Antibes and Nice.

 

You will be warmly welcomed by our local manager (Dutch speaking) who will show you around our villa and will be happy to give you the necessary information and useful tips about the region.
